Collection of basic reference network data and inventory data
Collection of basic reference network and inventory data is carried out by a vehicle that contains the necessary hardware and software equipment for this purpose:
- basic reference network data collection – collection of vector data (points, lines) using GNSS technology using differential corrections in real time HP+G2 (positional accuracy up to 1 m, height accuracy up to 2 m).
- collection of inventory data of highways and roads within the scope of data of the central technical register of roads
Inventory data collection is carried out in the field by recording their occurrence/location on the relevant section of the reference network.
Location data (chainage) on the road section are measured by a length meter, which is part of the measuring vehicle. Location data are automatically transferred through software application to local collection database, where the operator adds additional attributes for the given data. The collected data is then transferred to a central database.
Equipment of the measuring vehicle:
- GNSS receiver
- odometer (length meter)
- laptop with an installed application for collecting data in the field
- laser distance meter
- digital measuring wheel
